If you get pain or stiffness in your shoulders, or reoccurring injuries at the shoulder joint, there might be underlying issues that you’re not dealing with. Eleanor’s approach to mindful mobilisation of the shoulder involves getting to know your anatomy, understanding the way you’re designed to move, and bringing these insights into your daily movement.
In this workshop, you’ll learn about the anatomy of the shoulder complex, and how the shoulders move as part of an integrative system. Through explorative movement, you’ll learn how to notice and gradually release constriction patterns and move through full ranges of motion. We’ll use some self-massage to get things flowing, and restorative postures to practice yielding.
For anyone who joins my weekly classes, this will be an opportunity to learn more about the what and why behind my cues, with plenty of space to ask questions.
These workshops are suitable for all experience levels, as this work is about exploring the experience of your own body.
