If it feels like your hips are always tight, or you’ve experienced niggling aches or pains, just stretching is not enough. Eleanor’s approach to mindful mobilisation of the hips involves getting to know your anatomy, understanding the way you’re designed to move, and bringing these insights into your daily movement.
In this workshop, you’ll learn about the anatomy of the hips, pelvis and connective tissue, and how issues in your hips may be affected by lack of movement or overuse elsewhere in your body. Through explorative movement, you’ll learn how to notice and gradually release constriction patterns and move through full ranges of motion. We’ll use some self-massage to get things flowing, and restorative postures to practice yielding.
For anyone who joins my weekly classes, this will be an opportunity to learn more about the what and why behind my cues, with plenty of space to ask questions.
